McAdoo Kawasaki Racing’s Conor Cummins finished third fastest overall in Monday evening’s TT practice session. ‘Conrod’ lapped at 126.167mph on the McAdoo Ninja ZX-10R Kawasaki and then went out on his McAdoo Ninja ZX-6R Supersport bike for the first time.
After practice Conor seemed satisfied:
"I'm reasonably happy with tonight's practice. The ZX-10R Kawasaki Superbike felt really strong. Although I wasn't pushing hard, I'm pleased to be third fastest, especially since I need to make a few set-up changes, including the gearing and forks. I hope to try another version of the Pirelli slicks too, so there's plenty to come.
I had my first run around the mountain course on the 2009 ZX-6R tonight and I took it quite steady. I was on a faster run on lap two before I ran out of fuel, testing to see what fuel we needed to complete two laps. Obviously we need more! Again, I feel there's plenty of potential there"
Practice continues on Tuesday evening.
