Race products for 2010 has extended sponsorship and now has a vast spectrum of riders from club all the way through to international road racers.
We are very happy to announce the backing of the below riders: Club Riders:Phillip Crow:Big Phil Crow has taken the club racing scene by storm in 2009 and has big plans to go the next step competing in the Thundersport UK Championship for 2010. Phil has been working very hard with winter training trying to enable him with every chance of success in 2010. Phillip starts the season in good sted with two Spanish tests under his belt and bike and rider all ready for the opening round. Darren Bellworthy:Widely regarded as the "CADWELL KING" Darren starts the 2010 season with a new bike. Hes chosen the ultra competitive Gsxr1000k9. Darren plans to compete again with Derby Phoenix and selected National events. If Darren can get the start this year he deserves he will most defiantly be a force to be reckoned with throughout 2010. John Otter:Consistent.. John has come back into racing in 2010 with a fresh head. After a slightly disappointing 2009 were he ended with a very nasty crash leaving him badly injured, he has come back with a new bike in a new championship. Johns contesting the Michelin power cup, Also sponsored by Race Products. John will be riding his Gsxr1000k6 in new colours and has to start the season as one of the favourites for the class given his past racing pedigree. Adrian Hartog:After deciding to retire from Racing at the end of 2008 Adrian has been bitten by the bug and is coming back riding a ex bss Kawasaki zx6r. He will be racing in the Michelin Power cup at circuits all over the uk throughout 2010. Adrian will surprise a few this year and if he can get back to his old style, we are sure he will be in for a few rostrums this year. Perry Cooper:Perry is as solid and honest racer as you will find. Extremely competitive and has to have the best of everything ! Perry has been a long term customer and friend Of Race Products and this year he will be contesting in selected endurance races as well as instructing for Focused events.
National / International riders:Ryan Farquhar: This year we are backing Ryan for the Irish roads and of course isle of man tt races. Ryan this year will contest a full Kawasaki superbike at the tt on loan from the mss Kawasaki team owned and run by Nick Morgan. Ryan has won just about every award going in the Irish road championships and had many wins and top three finishes at tt and other road races all over the world. Ryan will be using our bodywork on his Kawasaki zx6r supersport bike along with his zx10 superbike and minitwin er6. The amount of work behind the scenes Ryan has already put into 2010 is anything to go by, then 2010 will be his year on the roads. Connor Cummins / Macadoo RacingRace Products have sponsored Mcadoo racing since the early 90s and every year its simply a joy to work along side such a well run, professional family backed team. They run great riders and have had lots of success from the outset. Being able to sign Conner for a second year with the team has to put them in good sted for 2010 given that the team and rider now know how things work. Senior win at the TT this year? Who knows they all work hard enough for it and we wish them the best for 2010. Michael Howarth / Magic Bullet RacingA new team in the shape of Magic bullet racing for 2010. Race products have agreed terms with Magic bullet racing to sponsor the team of four riders throughout 2010. Spearheading the team is the experienced Michael Howarth. Michael will be riding in the British superbikes Evo championship for 2010 riding the all new gsxr1000. So far hes tested the bike in spain and rider and team have come back more than happy and cant wait to get stuck in to the racing over here in less than two weeks. David Hair / Magic Bullet RacingUlster Superbike champion David Hair is no novice when it comes to close cut racing. And for 2010 he will need to use the experience gained so far as he will be contesting the National superstock championship riding the Magic Bullet racing gsxr1000. We wish him well and we will keep you posted with news as we get it. Nick Coates / Magic Bullet racingNick Is the youngster of the team. But with the experience of team mates and a very keen team behind him he will start the 2010 season aswell as anyone else. Nick will contest the Junior Superstock championship on the ultra competitive Yamaha R6. |
